Ahoy there, Susan, and welcome to planDisney!
Since you are setting sail in just two days, let me put your mind at ease right away: this is common and very manageable, even this close to embarkation. At this point, the most important thing to know is that Disney is generally flexible about who actually sleeps in which stateroom when you have multiple rooms booked. What truly matters behind the scenes is how Guests are assigned for things like onboard accounts, charging privileges, and Key to the World access.
My first suggestion is to
call a friendly Disney Cruise Line representative by phone before embarkation day to try to make the switch. If, for some reason, you are unable to reach a Cast Member, "Hakuna Matata!" That means "no worries"; Guest Services onboard is absolutely equipped to help you sort this out.
Once you are on the ship, simply stop by the Guest Services desk and let them know what you are hoping to adjust. They can reassign charging permissions, update key access, and make sure everything aligns with how your group plans to use the staterooms. Since it sounds like you're simply hoping to shift members of your travel party rather than switching rooms, someone should be able to make your wish come true.
I know this may be one of those last-minute details that's consuming your thoughts, but rest assured, the Disney Cruise Line team will do everything they can to make your trip as magical as possible. In the meantime, make sure you focus on finalizing your
packing list, including a carry-on bag with all your
travel documents, medications, and swim/sun accessories so you can start having fun the second you step on the ship!
Thank you for visiting us here at
planDisney, Susan. I hope your holiday voyage is the perfect ending to a supercalifragilisticexpialidocious year for you and your crew!
Bon voyage,
Sami
