    what are the swimming pools at animal kingdom lodge like in december? are they heated enough to swim if it is a milder florida day?

    Hi Kathy!  All Disney resort and waterpark pools are heated to 82 degrees.  During the cooler months such as December I recommend to guests to head to parks early in the morning and take an afternoon break back at the resort to enjoy the pools.  This gives the air time to warm up and makes the swimming experience a little more fun.  I prefer my water to be about 92 degrees so I am not a good candidate to swim unless it is a really HOT day!!!
