    Are the swimming pools at akl heated? We have reservations the week of thanksgiving. We stayed there last march and they seemed a little chilly. I sat and watched as my dh and dd swam. Thanks for all the useful info.

    Hi Jamie! Thank you for asking questions! 

    All Walt Disney World pools, including the ones at Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge, are heated to 80 degrees. Even in January my children find the pools warm enough for swimming. When we visit during chillier months, you will only find me in the water for a few brief minutes before I head over to the whirlpool spa where the water temperature is much more to my liking-steaming!
