    Is swimming allowed at the Polynesian resort beach? At any of the beaches at any of the WDW hotels?

    Hi Robert,

    I was just at Disney's Polynesian Resort last Sunday!  What a gorgeous resort.  For safety reasons, there is no swimming allowed at the beach along the Seven Seas Lagoon behind the Polynesian.  There are incredible pools, like the Nanea Volcano Pool, to enjoy instead. 

    From what I understand, the same is true at the beaches found at other Disney resorts.  Fishing and boating are available from these beaches but swimming is not permitted.  Guests at Disney's Yacht and Beach Club Resorts can swim at Stormalong Bay, the resort's famous sand-bottom pool.  That's about as close as you can get to swimming along the beach at Walt Disney World.
