Is there a swallow area in the main pool at Wilderness Resort Lodge? Will my 4 year old (~ 45 inches tall) be able to stand and play in the pool ? Is there a gradual slope entrance into the pool ( like the one in Animal Kingdon Lodge)?

    Hi Diane,

I love the theming at Disney's Wilderness Lodge and there is a kiddie pool there that would be suitable for your 4 year old, but their pools are not the cool zero-depth-entry type that you are referring to at Animal Kingdom Lodge.  My favorite zero-depth-entry pool would be at the Polynesian or the Grand Floridian.  When my daughter was learning to swim at WDW I always had either some swim arms for her to use or a lifejacket type floaty where she would then be able to enjoy the larger pool or as I mentioned, they do have the kiddie pool for her to enjoy.  Please look at the following link where you can see what types of pools are available at the different WDW Resorts as well as which ones offer the zero-depth-entry.

    Best wishes,
