Welcome to planDisney, Tiffany, and thanks for bringing your question! We are a group of regular guests who have so much experience planning our Disney vacations that we now spend our free time helping others plan their own!
Lots of guests opt for the
Disney Dining Plan for convenience and peace of mind during their visit to Walt Disney World. With
this plan, each guest receives one quick-service meal, one table-service meal, and one snack for each night of their stay.
Kona Cafe at
Disney's Polynesian Resort counts towards one table-service credit. Meals include one entree, one beverage, and one dessert (for brunch, lunch, and dinner). I am a huge fan of sushi, so I get the significance of your question! I spoke with a friendly Cast Member who confirmed that all sushi dishes at Kona Cafe are part of the dining plan, including the Combination Platter. That's good news, Tiffany! I may have to pull up a chair and join you for dinner! These details do occasionally change, so let your server know that you are using the dining plan before ordering.
Since you'll be visiting this summer, be sure to take advantage of the
free water park on your check-in day! If it's up to my teens, we head to
Disney's Blizzard Beach Water Park for
Summit Plummet, but I love that we can ride
Teamboat Springs together as a family!
Typhoon Lagoon also has thrills and relaxation to offer! Let the adventure seekers make a beeline for
Crush 'n' Gusher, while those in your group who are looking for something more serene can head to
Castaway Creek. Either way, it's a great way to cool off in that Florida heat!
Have the most incredible time at
The Most Magical Place on Earth, Tiffany! If you have any more questions, please don't hesitate to reach out! This is what we do best at
planDisney!
Always dreaming -
