Hi Susan! We are going to WDW from 12/23-1/2/13, and already purchased CDS tickets for 6pm show, can we bring our camera?? Are we allowed to take pics?? One more question, how cold is it usually on December?? We live in tropical weather, must prep! Thx!

    Hi Miriam!

Thank you for visiting the Moms Panel!

You are going to love visiting Walt Disney World over the Christmas season - the decorations alone are worth the visit - they are like an attraction all of their own, absolutely beautiful.

I am also sure you will love Cirque du Soleil - La Nouba - we have seen this two years running, and I still want to see it again.  It is absolutely fantastic.  Unfortunately, taking photographs is not permitted - with or without flash.  I did take my camera with me, because I carry it everywhere on vacation, but kept it in my bag the whole time.  You will find Show items for sale, such as a DVD and CD, to bring home with you to enjoy again (we also purchased these!), so there is no need to take photographs.

December's weather can be unpredictable.  I was visiting Walt Disney World in mid-December last year and it was perfectly warm enough during the day for short-sleeved t-shirts and cropped trousers.  During the evenings, I just added a lightweight cardigan.  However, I know that the previous year's weather in December was considerably colder - requiring jackets and scarves.  The average high/low temperatures are 73/53, with an average rainfall of 2.3 inches.

If you have any other questions, please come back and ask me - I would be happy to help you plan your magical vacation!
