Rexana from HI Asked Note: This answer was provided prior to the change to planDisney and may still contain references to Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I am survivor of stage 4 lymphoma cancer, age 50 checking I like help to return for ride. Question - any discount for help I need my husband and or son with me at all times. Appreciate help, can provide doctor note. Aloha, the 3 of all need hope.

    Aloha Rexana!

Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel. As one of the two (!) physicians on the Panel, I want first to congratulate you on your remission from cancer. I bet you are ready to celebrate after a hard-fought battle!

Walt Disney World is committed to providing all of its Guests with a magical experience, including those with medical needs. As such, let me tell you about a few of the services available to you during your trip. First, if you feel like you will tire quickly, I suggest a wheelchair or ECV rental. They are available for daily rent at the entrance of each of the Theme Parks, or you can do a length-of-stay rental through a Disney Featured Provider.

You also might want to look into the Disability Access Service. The service is designed for Guests who are unable to wait in the conventional line. Stop by Guest Services in any of the Parks to talk with a Cast Member about whether the service is something you can access. Regardless of whether you use DAS, please take full advantage of complimentary FastPass+! You can pre-pick three selections via My Disney Experience that allows you to skip the line. Once those selections are finished, you can pick more as you go.

If you require medical care while on property, there are First Aid Centers in each Park. The centers also have private areas where your family can assist you. There are companion restrooms throughout the four Theme Parks, Disney Springs, and the Water Parks if you need to be accompanied there also.

In terms of discounts, keep an eye out on the Special Offers & Discounts page. There are currently discounts for military members, as well as special offers with dining, tickets, and hotels. This spot, as well as Disney Parks Blog, will be the place to find special pricing.

Rexana, if you have any other questions, please do not hesitate to come back. I wish you much pixie dust with your upcoming celebration-vacation!
