I am surprising my sister in law with a trip to Disney. The new magic band 2.0 worries me. Can we still use the old magic band? I have the Epcot flower garden one from 2015 and I would like to use that again.

    Hi Shannon!

You can certainly continue to use your Epcot International Flower & Garden Festival MagicBand for your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation.  The battery life of a MagicBand is about 2-3 years, so yours should be ready to wear.

I am excited to try the MagicBand 2 to see how it fits, if different than the original.  I saw a friend's MagicBand 2 last weekend and it was really sleek looking.  I like that you have other options of using it, other than your wrist.  My kids won't wear theirs all day, so having it on MagicKeepers clips that I can carry easily is a good option for us.  I was happy to see that the removable icon in the middle requires a tool, so I don't have to worry about it popping out.

    Have a magical day!
