We're surprising our little boy with a his first trip to DW for his bday next week. Where can we go for a sugary smorgasbord of treats? How about bday cake? We have reservations for dinner @ the Crystal Palace. Any extra magic ideas?

Hello Terra and thank you for asking the Disney Parks Moms Panel such a delicious question.
How thrilling to hear you've arranged such a magical combination for your darling little son's birthday and first visit to Walt Disney World Resort next week, you must be so excited!
The first thing I tell all birthday boys and girls visiting Walt Disney World Resort is to be sure and visit any Guest Services where you should be able to collect a complimentary 'I'm Celebrating' button!  Wearers of these cute buttons usually attract good wishes from Cast Members and other Guests alike thus making for a very special day indeed.
I just know you'll enjoy a wonderful time dining with Winnie the Pooh and all his Hundred-Acre Wood pals at The Crystal Palace and perhaps you could also add a little extra pixie dust by arranging a personalized specialty birthday cake at least 72 hours in advance by speaking with a Cast Member on 407 827 2253; cakes can be delivered to most Table Service restaurants on Disney property.
For an out of this world confection filled ice-cream treat please visit the delightful Beaches & Cream Soda Shop where you should order the ultimate sweet smorgasbord -The Kitchen Sink. This super fun dessert takes a whole lot of beating in more ways than one!!
It's my birthday wish for you and your lovely family to enjoy a perfectly magical time at Walt Disney World Resort next week making memories that will last an entire lifetime.
    Have great Disney day,
    ~ Jane
