Hello, we are surprising our kids with a trip to Disney this year and we are going to try out the water parks also. What is something that is a have to do while there? Our kids are 7 and 5. Thanks

Hi, April! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

I am so excited for your family! Walt Disney World Resort vacation surprises are the BEST!

Okay, so over at Disney’s Typhoon Lagoon, Ketchakiddee Creek is the ultimate water play area for kiddos who might be overwhelmed by the larger attractions. Gangplank Falls is my favorite because the whole family can ride this giant inner tube together! Although your kids might not be tall enough yet, Crush 'n' Gusher is a super fun “water-coaster” that you should check out! Miss Adventure Falls is the newest attraction, so I suggest heading there as early as possible as it can be quite popular!

At Disney’s Blizzard Beach, Ski Patrol Training Camp is a great way for bigger kids to play in the water and get a workout at the same time! I know that my kids love challenges but they also love Tike’s Peak which is a water play area designed for smaller swimmers. As I love me a good family tube ride, Teamboat Springs is my family’s must-do at this Disney Water Park! What’s even better is that you can take the Chairlift to the top, which is an attraction in itself!

Both Disney Water Parks also have lazy rivers which are great to relax and float around in, although my kids always turn them into a race!

I hope you and your family have a splashtastic time and that you come visit us again soon!
