    We are surprising our kids with a trip to Disney for Christmas.My one daughter has aspergers.I've been told there is a pass we can get to help avoid long lines in case of one of her meltdowns. Where can I get one and do I need any doctor's note?

    Hi there Christine,

    Many families with kids on the Spectrum report that Walt Disney World is a wonderful, user-friendly destination for their special kids.  If your daughter's disability prevents her from waiting in long lines, I suggest you visit Guest Relations at whichever park you head to first.  At the Magic Kingdom, Guest Relations is inside City Hall, which will be on your left as you enter.  Explain your daughter's needs and your concerns to the Cast Member who assists you, and you can receive a Guest Assistance Card that will enable your daughter and up to five people access attractions via an alternate entrance.  While the card won't completely eliminate the need to wait, it will greatly reduce wait times, and hopefully will make for a more magical vacation!
