We're surprising our 3&6 y/o girls w/ a trip to Disney as an Xmas gift but aren't going until Jan.I don't think they r old enough to recognize an airplane ticket so does Disney do email or video messages from the characters telling kids about the trip?

    Hi Beth,

What a wonderful Christmas surprise that you are giving your girls!  I know they will be so thrilled.  To my knowledge, Disney does not have a special email or phone call or video for children telling them about an upcoming trip.  I would, however, suggest a couple of ways of telling them.  First, you could have them find clues on Christmas like a scavenger hut.  You couple put a note or clue (such as a Disney plush toy or small character) in their stockings telling them where to get the next clue.  The final clue could be a picture of Cinderella's Castle stating that they are going to Walt Disney World.  You can also include a "Countdown to Disney" calendar for them.  Another way would be to visit your local travel agent and ask for maps of Walt Disney World or get a book from the bookstore and have them unwrap this gift.  You could include a small stuffed toy of their favorite character as well.  However you choose to tell them, Beth, I know it will be so wonderful and exciting!  I just know your vacation will be magical!  Please let me know if I can help you further.
