    Hi there, We are surprising our girls with the Disney trip, we're telling them on 12/25. We'll be going in January. What clothes do we pack in late January? (We're from ND) I'd like to keep what we pack light w/cost of luggage on airlines.

    It sounds like you have a great surprise planned for your kids! The look on their faces will be priceless when they discover their Christmas present!

    Even though I'm a native New Englander and used to cold weather in the winter, when we travel to Walt Disney World in January and February, we still plan on packing some cold weather clothes. Usually long pants and a sweatshirt for evenings (or a light jacket) and shorts or capris during the day are our usually clothing choices. I still pack bathing suits as well.

    While it is January, many times the days warm up enough for a swim or dip in the hot tub, while the evenings cool off after sunset.
