    We are surprising a friend during our visit this coming November with a birthday cake at Chef Mickey's before going on the Pirates & Pals Fireworks Voyage. If we do not eat all the cake will the hotel or restaurant would keep it until we get back?

    I think this depends on the restaurant and I would recommend you make this request when you order your cake (or with the Host at the podium when you arrive for your dining reservation).   I have heard of many occasions when cakes have been left, and then collected later, but it's always worth checking beforehand.
