We are surprising my DD8 with a trip to Disney World in August 2012. We would like to have dinner at one of the Disney restaurants with my husbands aunt and grandmother who live in the Orlando area. How can we make this happen. We have the DDP for us.

    Hi Elizabeth!

How wonderful that you can meet up with family that live in the area!  This is super simple to make a family reunion happen.  First, you will need to make restaurant reservations for your entire party.  This includes all children, no matter the age.  You can do so by calling (407) WDW-DINE.  Have your husband's Aunt and Grandmother meet your family at the restaurant.  If it is at a Disney World Resort, they will tell the guard that they are there for dinner and the guard will direct them where to park.  At dinner, tell your server you would like to do separate checks since your family is on the Disney Dining Plan and the others will need to pay out of pocket.

If you are dining in a Disney World park, all family members will need park tickets.

    Have a magical day!
