Surprising DD with a "just mommy & me" trip to POR in celebration of her 5th birthday 9/2-9/5. We're having dinner at CRT and I am wondering whether they'll do something special with her dessert even if I don't order a Celebrate Today cake?

    Hi Kelly!

It sounds like you have a fabulous birthday trip planned for you and your little princess.  Disney's Port Orleans Resort - Riverside combined with a birthday dinner at Cinderella's Royal Table sounds absolutely amazing!

Every restaurant at the Walt Disney Resort will acknowledge birthdays.  Here is what you should do.  Make sure that your daughter's birthday is notated on your dining reservation.  In addition, let the person at the host stand know you are celebrating a birthday.  Lastly, tell your server as well.   Each restaurant will acknowledge a birthday a bit differently from the others, but they will make her feel special on her very special day.  All little princesses also receive a princess wand as a special gift!

Happy Birthday to your daughter!  I wish you a truly magical vacation!
