Hi Louise,
Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thank you for your question. Surprise trips are always so exciting, so I can understand wanting to make every detail perfect for your daughters!
Unfortunately, I don’t have any foolproof way to ensure that you’ll be able to have lunch at
Cinderella’s Royal Table during your upcoming visit to Walt Disney World Resort. However, one thing that I do know is that, as guests cancel their reservations and as the restaurant reviews its occupancy levels for any given day, sometimes a table will become available when you least expect it. Keep checking back - you might get a surprise when you do! Another tip would be to check back at least 24 hours before your selected lunch date. Due to the
cancellation policy for dining reservations, tables often open up for more popular restaurants the day before the reservation as guests cancel their bookings.
Finally, if you’re willing to have dinner instead, a great alternative for your family would be
1900 Park Fare at Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa (one of my favourite character dining experiences on property) or, if you want to stay in Magic Kingdom Park, try getting a reservation for lunch at
Liberty Tree Tavern - although there are no characters, it’s absolutely delicious!
I hope my answer helps you plan your upcoming vacation! Please don’t hesitate to come back and see us if you have any other questions.
Have a Magical Day (and good luck!),
Lynne
