I am surprising my 5yo daughter with a first trip to Disney. The Bibbidy Boutique is booked. When I called, the person I spoke to said Pirate's League also did princess makeovers. Does anyone have any experience with princess makeovers there? Any tips?

    Hi Kelli:

Thanks for sending the Disney Parks Moms Panel your question.  I am sorry to hear that you have not been able to book an appointment for your daughter at the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique.  I would continue to check, as guests do cancel appointments as vacations approach and schedules are finalized.  My daughter absolutely loved getting a makeover at the Pirates League.  It is a very different feel from the Bibbidi Bobbidi Boutique, where girls are transformed into pirates or mermaids, instead of princesses.  I would recommend booking an appointment as soon as possible, as spots tend to fill up quickly too.  One great thing about this experience, is that the pirates and mermaids are invited to participate in the Adventureland Parade of Pirates on the day of their makeover.

If your daughter has her heart set on a princess makeover, I would recommend doing the mermaid makeover,  she could pair the beautiful makeup and accessories with an Ariel dress for more of a princess look.  Personally, the mermaid makeover is my favourite "look" of all of the makeovers at Walt Disney World Resort, the girls look too cute!

Please let me know if you have any other questions as your Walt Disney World Resort Vacation approaches.  I would be happy to help.
