My DH surprised me w/a trip to WDW next week! We will be at parks Th/F/S. From what I can tell, it may be "least" busy at MK on Chr. Eve versus going on F/S. Should we worry about the other parks hitting max. capacity on Christmas?

What an incredible surprise from your husband!  I think I will have my own read this to give him a hint or two!

It is impossible to know exactly what the crowds will be like on any given day much less important holidays!  If I was planning my own itinerary for your dates I would agree with you and head to the Magic Kingdom on Christmas Eve.  Christmas day can get quite crowded in that park and you will add the local crowds once the weekend arrives.

Having spent Christmas at Walt Disney World in the past I can say we were never worried about parks hitting maximum capacity.  New Years Eve was the time that we watched and planned for carefully for that reason.  When you arrive please check with your resort concierges or guest services to get any current information they might have in regards to crowds and capacity plans.
