SURPRISE trip planned for 8/29-9/2! Yay!! Kidz still interested in character meals. Do any of the moms or dad have an opinion on whether it is more time efficient to do character meals within the parks rather than going from resort to resort?

Hi Paula - How exciting!  I think the answer to your question really depends upon where you are staying.  If you are staying on the resort monorail loop, it's just as easy to eat at a resort.

Otherwise, if you are looking to save time, then it's probably best to schedule character meals at the park where you'll be spending the day.  That way, you'll save the commuting time.

Keep in mind, however, some of the better character meals, in my opinion, like Chef Mickey at the Contemporary and 'Ohana at the Polynesian, are located at resorts.  So if you do have the time to resort hop, it may be worth it.

    I hope that helps!
