Hello! I would like to surprise the kids with a spur of the moment 2 day trip, giving them the surprise Christmas Day and flying out immediately. Will the Holiday decorations and parades still be up on the 26th? Thanks

    Hi Nicole!

I can think of no better Christmas gift than a trip to Walt Disney World Resort during the holiday season! Your kids are going to be so excited when they get this magical surprise! Celebrating the Holidays at Walt Disney World Resort is an amazing experience; it's my hands-down favorite time of year to visit. I am so happy to tell you that the holiday decorations and fun will still be going on when you arrive on December 26. The decorations start to come down just after the new year.

When we visit around Christmas, my family loves to stop by some of the Resort hotels to see the awe-inspiring decorations. One of our favorites is the life-sized Gingerbread House at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa; it's amazing! We also love Holidays Around the World at Epcot where you can discover worldwide celebrations of the magical Christmas season, including the beautiful Candlelight Processional.

I hope you have a magical holiday visit to Walt Disney World Resort, Nicole! Please stop back again as you continue to plan your surprise trip!

Wishing you magical memories to last a lifetime,
    Erin
