    I want to surprise my husband with a trip to Magic Kingdom to celebrate our 35th wedding anniversary. We honeymooned at Disney World and it's a very special place to us. What is the best resort for a value price that you would recommend

    Hi, Cathy! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Congratulations on 35-years of marriage! That is definitely something to celebrate. I love that you honeymooned at the Walt Disney World Resort and are wanting to return to commemorate such an occasion. And to want to surprise your husband is just the most romantic gesture! I’m so thrilled you’ve come to us for help!

    I’m a romantic at heart and I think the Walt Disney World Resort can be one of the most romantic places in the world! For my 10th wedding anniversary, my husband and I also decided to celebrate at Disney and we chose to stay at a moderate resort to stay within our budget. During that visit, we fell in love with Disney’s Port Orleans Resort! This resort has two properties you can choose from, Disney’s Port Orleans Resort – Riverside or Disney’s Port Orleans Resort- French Quarter. They are both very unique but equally beautiful and fun! We stayed in the French Quarter side and loved the smaller layout. But we visited Riverside and loved the grounds. The old southern charm is so quaint and romantic. They even have a horse-drawn carriage ride. Swoon! To top the list of amenities, this resort has a leisurely cruise that will take you straight to Disney Springs where you can dine, shop, and enjoy all the fun entertainment during your visit.

    There are so many different options on where to stay during your visit and each resort at Disney has its own unique appeal for guests of all tastes and budgets. I hope you find the perfect fit to celebrate your anniversary. Don’t forget to get your Anniversary buttons when you arrive so you can be celebrated everywhere you go!
