    I would like to surprise my husband with a carriage ride at POR during our trip in June. How far ahead of time do I need to make reservations? Can I wait until we arrive or if not, where do I call? Will they need a credit card payment?

    Hi Susan!  The carriage rides at Disney's Port Orleans is a wonderful way to surprise your husband.  The carriage ride is 25 minutes long departing from the riverside marina, you should arrive approximately 15 minutes before your scheduled reservation.  The carriages can fit up to 4 adults or 2 adults and three children.  The cost is $45(tax is included) and reservations can be made up to 180 days in advance, to book your reservation call 407-WDW-PLAY  (407-939-7529).  A credit card is required to hold the reservation, but will not be charged unless you are a no show or do not cancel within 24 hours.  For same day availability you can check with the departure point at the marina.  If this is something you really want to experience, I strongly suggest making advance reservations.  Have a wonderful time surprising your husband, if you need any more help don't hesitate to ask!
