Would like to surprise a friend at WDW in Sept. Can I join her exisiting room reservation (value resort) once she has begun her stay? E.g. If she arrives on Mon, can my name be added to the room on Wed for the remaining days? Are additional costs involved?

Hi Michele! Thanks for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel. Kudos to you for wanting to be a good friend with a special surprise. Unfortunately, for the safety of your friend and all guests at Walt Disney World Resort you cannot add your name to an existing reservation for a resort stay that has already begun. Your friend would have to have you added beforehand.

You could make your own separate reservation at the same resort, but I would suggest letting your friend know you want to be included in her upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation and then plan a special surprise for her when she arrives or during your stay.

Best of luck with your Walt Disney World Resort surprise...I hope it's magical and memorable!
