Hello, Vanessa!
Welcome back to planDisney! I’m so glad you sent us your question about my favorite evening experience. I always recommend the
World of Color Dessert Party to Guests (as well as to my own family and friends!) when they’re looking for something extra special. It’s truly magical!
You’re in luck! Unlike Walt Disney World, dining reservations at Disneyland only appear in the account of the Guest who booked them. Other members of your party won’t see the reservation unless you share a screenshot or show them your Disneyland app. So go ahead and make those reservations...your secret is safe with me!
On a recent trip, I was thrilled to see that Guests were able to check in for the World of Color Dessert Party up to two hours early in the app. Before this change, I would usually wait 30-45 minutes in line to check in and choose a table. Now, tables are assigned automatically when you check in, which gives you extra time to enjoy an attraction or two before the party begins. In my experience, every table has a wonderful view, so this update is a win all around!
The
Disneyland 70th Celebration will still be happening during your visit! Yay! I hope you’re able to catch one of my favorite parades,
Paint the Night. It always brings a smile to my face! I like watching it near “it’s a small world,” where the elevated steps are perfect for Guests like me who aren’t very tall! While in Fantasyland, be sure to say hi to
Bluey at the Fantasyland Theater, and don’t miss the updated
Storybook Land Canal Boats featuring a charming new Tangled‑inspired scene.
Vanessa, I hope your family enjoys every magical moment of your Disneyland vacation! We hope to see you real soon!
Magic Happens!
