Hi, Miranda!
I can't wait for your family to visit Disney's Animal Kingdom; your adventures are the perfect age for this amazing park. And if you have any plans to visit Pandora - The World of Avatar, you're going to be blown away.
With three children, I know how important it is for the mornings to run smoothly. Here are some of my tips to help your day start out on the right hoof.
• I definitely recommend eating before heading to Animal Kingdom. Those first few hours in the park at opening are the quietest. You'll want to be able to spend this time getting in as much as you can.
• If possible, pursue the breakfast menu for Pop Century's quick service location, Everything Pop, the night before. In the morning, send the second adult and your nine year old down to get everyone's breakfast while you and the younger Mouseketeer get ready - they'll make it to go for you!
• You can view the
Everything Pop Breakfast menu by selecting the highlighted link, or from the My Disney Experience App on your smartphone when you arrive.
• Smaller items can be taken with you to enjoy while waiting for Disney bus transportation.
Once you've had time in the park to enjoy your must-do attractions, use your snack credits for some awesome late morning treats. My top pick for a snack credit entitlement is the
Pongu Lumpia available at Pongu Pongu in Pandora - The World of Avatar. It's an amazing cream cheese and apple filled pasty delight.
I hope this helps you plan a "wild" day, Miranda! Please let me know if you have any additional last-minute questions - you can reach out to me directly.
Have a roaring good time,
Faith
