We would like to surprise our children for Christmas with a Disney trip, but we wouldn't be going until Sept 2016 which is when my husbands conference is. Do you have any special gift presentations with maybe the childrens names or something exciting?

  • Hi Megan,

How exciting to be planning a magical Christmas surprise for your children!  I surprised my three kids with a Walt Disney World vacation one year and their reactions were absolutely priceless.  What a great holiday memory for your whole family!

As soon as I saw your question, I immediately thought of Disney Floral & Gifts.  When you’re vacationing at Walt Disney World, they offer some amazing In-Room Celebrations and floral gifts, but they also have a great selection of Disney-themed items that can be delivered to your home (within the 48 states).  I've used the service many times and have always loved what they've put together.  There are lots of wonderful options available, but one that might be perfect is the Ears to You basket.  It includes Mickey ears, an autograph book and pen, and some sweet treats, plus the Mickey ears can be personalized for that extra sprinkle of pixie dust.  If you don’t see something that’s just right, give the Dream Makers there a call and they can put together a custom gift basket just for you.

You might also be interested in giving personalized Disney Gift Cards.  Those are super fun because you can upload your own photo and add a special message, and since they can be used for almost anything at Walt Disney World, they’re great for giving your kids souvenir money for your vacation.

Wishing you a holly-jolly surprise on Christmas morning, Megan, and a wonderful trip next September!  Please visit us here again as you make your plans - we’d love to help.
