After surgery a year ago, my knee won’t bend more than 90 degrees. I’m wondering how far the knee has to bend to properly sit to ride Flight of Passage on Pandora.

    Hi Stephanie!

Thanks for sending your question to the planDisney Panel! I think that Avatar Flight of Passage is one of the best, if not the best, attraction at Walt Disney World Resort! I have experienced this attraction over a dozen times and from my personal experience I can tell you that you will have to bend your knees. The best way to describe the it would be as if you were on a motorcycle but you have to move as forward as possible, bend your knees and bring your feet back a bit. It may be difficult for you, however I would encourage you to at least try, if you are comfortable doing so. If you cannot do it, a Cast Member will help you exit. I know that there used to be a test seat outside of the attraction for Guests to try out, however this may have been temporarily removed due to pandemic and for the health and safety of Guests. Hope this helps!

Quick tip: Be sure to download the My Disney Experience app on your mobile phone before your trip! Here you can see wait times for attractions and even where you can place a mobile order for many of the quick service locations!

Stephanie, thanks so much for stopping by the  planDisney Panel. If you need more help planning your vacation, please feel free to send me your questions!
