Just had surgery can I skip lines?

Hello Mia! All of us at planDisney hope that you are on the road to recovery from your recent surgery! The Walt Disney World Resort has a long history of ensuring that all Guests have a magical visit! This includes accommodations for Guests who require special assistance due to a disability.

The Walt Disney World Resort recognizes that individuals with disabilities have varying degrees of need for assistance. Should you feel that your recovery from surgery would prevent you from being able to wait in long lines for attractions, you can see if you qualify for Disability Access Service (DAS). Upon arrival at any of the Disney Parks, Guests believing they require DAS will report to Guest Relations where a friendly and helpful Cast Member will talk to you about your specific needs. Following your discussion, a determination will be made regarding the supports necessary for a Guest to enjoy the park! Due to the need to evaluate how a Guest can be best supported, discussions must occur in person once the Guest arrives at the park.

Mia, should you be in a wheelchair or require the use of a motorized scooter, you will not require the use of DAS. For most attractions, you will be able to use the standard line or possibly receive a return time, comparable to the current wait time for the attraction.

Best wishes for both a healthy recovery as well as a magical vacation!
