Welcome aboard, Eric!
Your Disney Cruise Line vacation is nearly here, you must be thrilled! I’m so excited for you, there’s just nothing like it and you’re going to have an amazing escape next week. Thanks for bringing your last-minute question to us, we are here to bring clarity and help you make the most of this incredible experience.
I’m happy to share that it sounds like you’ve got everything in ship-shape for your upcoming cruise. If you have more than one stateroom booked and can see both reservations in your Disney Cruise Line Navigator App with the same dining time, you are good to go for smooth sailing each night at dinner! Disney prides itself on their innovative rotational dining, and your travel party in both rooms will be seated together and move to the next main dining room each evening as a group.
With a few days before you sail, you can still make any Special Requests for more detailed seating locations, if you wish.
-OR-
Special Requests allow you to further customize your Disney cruise. Select Table Requests and you may give your preference for a table location within the main dining rooms, add a celebration, or specify child seating needs ahead of your arrival. Please know these requests are not guaranteed, but the Disney dining team will do their best to honor it.
I’m confident your travel party will be together each night, Eric but if you’d like a final confirmation (I’m a chronic double-checker) you may also confirm your dining plans once you board the ship. On that special embarkation day, you can flip your app to Onboard Mode and you will have additional functionality enabled. The full detailed cruise itinerary, as well as your dining rotations and menus for each night, will be available. If your whole party doesn’t have the same assignment as expected, there will also be a place listed to visit the dining team in person or chat with them through the app to make this final change prior to the first night’s dinner.
Based on your sail date it seems you will be on the brand-new Disney Wish! I haven’t yet experienced this incredible new ship but my planDisney cruise crewmates have, and everyone just adores it. I can also share the following schedule particular to your sailing as you look forward to your dinners:
- Monday, Embarkation Day – Cruise Casual
- Tuesday, at Sea – Optional Dress-Up
- Wednesday, Nassau – Pirate Night
- Thursday, Castaway Cay – Cruise Casual
I hope this helps reassure you that everything is in place for your two stateroom reservations to have memorable evenings together in the main dining rooms. No doubt many stories of your days' adventures will be shared each night!
Wishing you a magical sailing,
Amy
