How can I make sure my dining credits are used instead of charging my credit card when making reservations?

    Hey, Robyn!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Thank you for asking this fantastic question because making sure you use your Disney Dining Plan to the fullest is a high priority.

When you make your Disney dining reservation and leave your credit card, you are only providing Disney with collateral so you don't break your reservation (there is a financial penalty for not showing up). When you arrive at your dining experience the server will welcome you and ask if you are using a Disney Dining Plan. That's your queue to say "Yes" or "No." Once you let them know that you are using a dining plan they will explain how ordering works at that specific restaurant. All-you-car-to-eat locations are different than menu order locations.

Disney Dad Tip: Character Dining experiences offer you the best value for you Disney Dining Plan meal credits.

Robyn, enjoy making many Magical Memories at Walt Disney World Resort!
