Hiya, Charity!
Welcome to planDisney, friend! I am so excited to hear that you are planning a visit to Walt Disney World Resort. I cannot think of a better place to create a lifetime of magical memories with your favorite eight-year-old! Here's everything you need to know about
checking ticket pricing through the
Walt Disney World website.
If you already know your travel dates you can get an exact quote on your upcoming adventure online in moments.
Select the number of days you wish to spend in the parks and your ticket type. The interactive calendar you referenced in your question will populate those
Ages 10+ prices. The calendar does not automatically populate pricing for the
Ages 3-9 group. However, if you scroll down after selecting a date and select the
+ next to the 3-9 age range it will populate the total price of that ticket.
Standard Theme Park Tickets for Guests ages 3-8 average about $5 per day less than a 10+ ticket, so using this as a guideline is another great way to price your travels on the calendar. It is important to keep in mind that the price difference is an average, and is subject to change. The best way to get that official quote will be to add the tickets to your cart once you confirm your travel dates and desired ticket type.
Once you have purchased your tickets, you will need to make your
Disney Park Pass reservations. All four theme parks require a reservation in addition to a valid theme park ticket. Pro tip:
You can check the dates you wish to visit online prior to purchasing your admission. This is a great way to be sure that your favorite theme park has availability before you buy your tickets.
I hope that your upcoming adventure is memorable and magical!
We'll see ya real soon!
