Hi Darlene,
Thank you for visiting planDisney. I’m sorry to hear that you were not able to make it out to the park on your original date.
I would be happy to shed some light on how you can access your unused tickets. If your ticket is wholly unused and hasn’t expired yet, you can save it for another trip! If your ticket was already linked to your My Disney Experience account, you can change the
park reservation date. Remember that reservations can be made up to six months in advance. The system works a bit differently depending on your ticket type:
One-day ticket: You’ll select the park you plan to visit for that day.
Park Hopper ticket: You’ll choose your starting park, and after 11:00 AM, you’re free to hop between Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park as much as you’d like!
You should be able to choose a new date to visit the parks. If that doesn’t work for you, I suggest calling Ticket Services to see how a Cast Member can assist you further. They may be able to offer additional options depending on your situation.
Don’t forget, Darlene, that
the Holidays at the Disneyland Resort run now through January 7! You can check out the Disney Parks Blog for the latest information on what will be
available at the parks for the holidays. There are many
seasonal characters to see and
festive holiday foods to try. Hopefully, you will be able to visit the theme parks during the most wonderful time of the year!
I hope this information was helpful, Darlene. If you have any more questions, don’t hesitate to reach out to me or any of my fellow planDisney panelists. We’re always here to sprinkle a little extra pixie dust on your next Disney adventure.
Wishing you a magical vacation!
