    Hi moms! was supposed to go with boyfriend over new years but ended up being hospitalized and pushing our trip back to May =( What is the difference between weather and crowds from May 21-25 compared to over new years. Any special recomm. for 22 year olds?

    I am so sorry that you had to change your trip, but I am so glad that you are still going to be able to go to the Walt Disney World Resort for your vacation!!!

    We have been at both times of year that you are asking about and both are extremely wonderful!

    New Year's is such a magical time to go to the Walt Disney World Resort because of all the festivities and Christmas decorations, but it is also probably the most crowded time of the year.  The weather is usually pretty mild, but it can get cold depending on what front is moving through.

    I believe that you will find May 21-25 a very, very nice time to go.  The crowds will be drastically less than New Year's.  The weather will range from the 60's to the 80's and be very comfortable.

    I can totally understand how you could be bummed that you could not be at Walt Disney World over New Year's, but I know that you will have a wonderful vacation in May!!
