    With the supply chain issues for magicbands, is there a way to order for just one member of your party at a time? It's looking unlikely that we will all find designs to order simultaneously, but we would like to make use of the pre-arrival discount.

    Welcome to planDisney! I am so glad that you stopped by with your question regarding MagicBands. They are an amazing piece of wearable technology and my favorite vacation souvenir. 

    You have picked the perfect time to visit because the 50th Anniversary Celebration will still be going on. New experiences were created just for Guests during the 18-month-long event. You will not want to miss Disney’s Enchantment, shown most nights in the Magic Kingdom. This nighttime spectacular combines castle and Main Street U.S.A. projections with breathtaking fireworks and an amazing arrangement of all your favorite Disney classic songs. 

    Guests of Disney Resorts Collection Hotels have the benefit of ordering MagicBands at a pre-arrival discounted price. Many of the MagicBands currently available are exclusive to online orders only. You will not find them available on shopDisney or in the parks or resorts. I have a trip scheduled for almost the same week and I have been monitoring the MagicBand selection pretty closely for the last month. As of today, there are currently 17 styles available. You do have some time before you have to make your final decision. But keep in mind if there is a MagicBand that you see now, there are no guarantees that it will be available later. 

    Unfortunately, when you order MagicBands at the pre-arrival discounted price, if you do not choose one for each member of your party, you will be forced to decline a MagicBand for the remaining members of your party. Once an order is placed, you will not be able to make another at the discounted price. I would suggest that you check the available styles regularly and place an order no later than 30 days before your arrival. If everyone in your party is unable to find a design they like, you can order for most of the members of your party. When you arrive you will find MagicBands for sale at your Disney Resorts Collection Hotel gift shop, in the theme parks, and at select retail locations in Disney Springs. I am sorry this is not the magical answer you were looking for, but hopefully, most of your family members can find a MagicBand they like to be customized at a discounted price.
