Hi supermoms!! Have finally decided to stay at Bc with my family but I want try another resort too for a few days. Please help me decide between Pors, pofq, pops, swahn. From the kids point of wiev what should I pick and why?? kids age,4,8,18,20. Thankyou!

    Hi Cattis!

Thanks for sending in your question to the Moms Panel.  I hope you don't mind me answering this from a dad's perspective!  Between those four, I would pick Port Orleans Riverside or the Walt Disney World Swan for one reason:  both have excellent pools that I think your three oldest children would enjoy.  They both have relatively long water slides, though between the two, the Swan's pool is slightly better in my opinion.  Pop Century, as a Value Resort, doesn't have a water slide and the pool at Port Orleans French Quarter is not as nice as the pool at Riverside.  However, French Quarter and Riverside are sister resorts, so pool hopping between those two are allowed!

The Swan, in my opinion, is between a Disney Moderate and a Disney Deluxe Resort, though a lot of guests would consider it equivalent to a Disney Deluxe Resort.  The Swan also has a great location on Crescent Lake between Epcot and Disney's Hollywood Studios.  However, from the Swan, it's a long walk to both Epcot and the Studios; there is a boat that provides transportation to all of the hotels on Crescent Lake and those two parks.

Port Orleans Riverside has gorgeous landscaping.  I especially love the Alligator Bayou section of the resort.  It also has a very nice food court.  You can also use Disney's Magical Express to and from Orlando International Airport if you stay at Riverside; that's something you can't do if you stay at the Swan.

    Good luck with your decision!
