Hi.. i am super thrilled on spending NYE at Disney world.. i have gotten the reservation for the dessert party at plaza garden at 10:15pm on Dec 30th.. do you know if i will be able to stay in that spot until the midnight show? Thanks!

Hey there, Diana. Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.

New Year's Eve at Walt Disney World is a celebration you'll never forget. There's no better place to ring in the New Year than at Magic Kingdom Park. The Fireworks Dessert Party is a great way to secure your viewing spot for the show without having to fight a crowd! Plus, you get all of those tasty desserts to enjoy. My personal favorite are the chocolate covered strawberries. It might be an old classic but they are so ripe and delicious.  I'm glad to see you've selected the Plaza Garden Viewing option, it's actually my favorite out of the two and it's less expensive. You'll be able to enjoy all of the treats until you've had your fill at Tomorrowland Terrace starting at 10:15 p.m. when your reservation begins and then you'll be escorted over to your viewing area for the midnight firework show. What a way to ring in the New Year!

I hope this helps clear up any confusion. If you have any other questions, please feel free to come back and ask.

Meet the Panelist: Jackie, North Carolina

I love all things Walt Disney World.  In fact, since becoming Annual Passholders, my family of 3 is always hopping in the car for a quick trip to visit with Mickey Mouse!  I've been known to make the 8 hour each way drive to Walt Disney World (in one day!) to indulge in a Mickey Waffle or enjoy a sunny day at Disney's Typhoon Lagoon Water Park.  I may have a small family, but we are always up for some BIG fun at the Walt Disney World Resort.   Learn More About Jackie
