Super excited to be staying for the 1st time at the Grand Floridian. I have an outer building lagoon view. I have been researching which building to request for my stay. I would love any information that would help me decide. Thanks!

    Hi Robin!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Your upcoming Walt Disney World vacation sounds fantastic! Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa is one of my family's favorite Resort hotels to stay at during our magical vacations. Not only is the Resort hotel beautiful, but being a quick monorail ride away from Magic Kingdom Park is incredible!

It is my pleasure to assist you with choosing your ideal building location! In my opinion, Sago Cay (Building 5) is my favorite location! It is a short walk away from the casual dining restaurant, Gasparilla Island Grill, as well as a quick walk to/from the bus stop and boat transportation. Also, it's close to the monorail and restaurants in the Main Building! Getting a specific building for your Resort hotel stay isn't guaranteed, but I think it's great to research the different locations of each building and make a request for one in particular!

Robin, I'm wishing you the most magical time during your stay at Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa! I know you'll enjoy the beautiful room as well as all the amenities throughout your vacation. If you have any other questions, please come back and visit us again!
