Super excited to be staying in the new Little Mermaid rooms at the AOA resort. When I looked at the map of the resort it looked like the Mermaid rooms are a LOONNNGGG way from main building. Any thoughts on actual distance? Will there be preferred rooms?

Who wouldn't be super excited about staying in brand new Little Mermaid rooms in Disney's Art of Animation Resort? I am a little envious of you!

Some of the Little Mermaid rooms do look like they are a way from the main building. Since the layout of Disney's Art of Animation Resort is so similar to Disney's Pop Century Resort the distance between these rooms and the main building is probably about the same as the distance between the 90s rooms and Classic Hall at the Pop. A stroll but quite doable. Wear comfortable shoes!

After talking to several Cast Members the best answer I can give you about preferred rooms in "probably". We will find out much more about this resort when it opens next month.

Enjoy your stay in a new room that is sure to be fun and fabulous!
