We are super excited about spending the holidays at WDW! We will be staying from December 22 through January 4. My question is, do the christmas parade and fireworks typically continue through the end of December/ beginningof January?

Happy holidays, Silvia! Of course you’re excited! You will spend the most wonderful time of the year at the Most Magical Place on Earth!

Some of the most popular holiday season entertainment occurs during Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party! Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmas Parade and Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show are Guest favorites during the party! Now, while this entertainment is exclusive to the Christmas party from November 8 through December 20, 2024, something rather magical usually takes place beginning the day after the last Christmas party…the party entertainment becomes part of the daily entertainment during regular park hours during the final week of December (typically through December 30). I like to think of it as Mickey’s Christmas gift to Guests visiting Magic Kingdom Park!

So, if past practice will be the norm again this year (and I have no reason to think that it won’t), Guests will be able to enjoy Christmas entertainment at Magic Kingdom Park, during regular theme park hours from December 21 through December 30, without purchasing any additional admission or special tickets! You will just need your admission ticket for Magic Kingdom Park!

Silvia, check the Walt Disney World Resort website and your My Disney Experience app once we get much closer to the week of the holidays. Christmas parade, fireworks, and entertainment showtimes will be posted!

    Dreams do come true!
