Hi! Super excited to be running the 2016 Glass Slipper and my husband and two boys want to watch me finish..,my question is, Will park tickets have to be purchased for them to be a spectator? Thanks much!

Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Staci!

I hope your training is off to a good start and you are looking forward to participating in the 2016 Glass Slipper Challenge, it will be here before you know it!

Your family will not need a theme park ticket to see your magical moment; the finish lines are actually located in the Imagine Lot of the Epcot parking lot, not in the theme park itself. Keep in mind that race transportation will not be available due to road closures between 5:00am and 7:00am so I suggest they head over to Epcot by 5:00am so that they get a spot along the finish line route (the grandstands at the finish line are reserved for those who've purchased a ChEAR Squad package for their spectators).

Another fun option is to have them see you run down Main Street USA in the Magic Kingdom, spectators can enter at 5:30am and do not need a theme park ticket! This is probably the most magical spot for them to get close enough to see you, and then they can take the Monorail back to Epcot to catch you at the finish line too!

If this sounds like a plan you'd like to execute, let me know and I can provide the exact details on how to make it work - it's going to be a long and early morning for your family too, might as well make it an adventure for them :)

I hope to hear from you again, Staci!
