Hi! We are super excited to plan our first trip with our kids! Our son will be 5 and our daughter 2. Where the heck do we stay? So overwhelmed and not sure if it's worth spending the money on Bay Lake Tower or Beach Club. Thank you!!

    Hi Laura,

You cannot go wrong with any Walt Disney World Resort Hotel. Regardless of where you decide, all Guests staying on property have access to two benefits that create a magical vacation for the whole family.

Guests staying on-site have access to shorter lines and smaller crowds during Extra Magic Hours, a time when the theme parks are open only for Walt Disney World Resort Hotel Guests. Also, you will have the opportunity to reserve your access to your most highly anticipated attractions 60-days in advance of your stay with FastPass+. Those two benefits make visiting the 4 incredible theme parks with young children as hassle free as possible.

Deluxe Resorts and Deluxe Villa Accommodations really provide unmatched ease on your vacation. We love the short stroll from Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort just underneath the monorail and into Magic Kingdom Park. It is as stunning as it is convenient at night, with the opportunity to catch Wishes Nighttime Spectacular from your private balcony because a little one is asleep. Yes, it has happened.

Disney's Beach Club Resort offers a 3-acre oasis in Stormalong Bay. This sand-bottomed pool is amazing on a sunny, Florida afternoon. With the Resort just a quick boat ride or leisurely stroll away from two theme parks, it's simple to sneak away for some afternoon rest before heading back out for more excitement.

Might I also suggest a look at Disney's Art of Animation Resort?  This Value Resort offers some of the best theming on property, and the opportunity to stay in a well appointed Family Suite with substantial savings over a Deluxe Resort. Plus, the Big Blue Pool is the largest at Walt Disney World Resort! I think the kids, and parents, will love it!

    Wishing you many magical memories,
