Super excited to go to WDW for the 1st time w/husband for our 1 yr anniversary but we are on a budget. Question: 3 special days fall on our vacation (Valentine's day/our anniversary the 16th /his birthday the 20th), what budget special/freebies can we get?

Hello Megan!  Sounds like you're in for a simply magical vacation at Walt Disney World as you celebrate 3 special days!  Finding magic at Walt Disney World while on a budget is not so difficult - first, you'll want to stop by Guest Relations when you arrive at any of the four theme parks to pick up "Happy Anniversary" and "Happy Birthday" buttons to wear during your trip.  They are complimentary, and wearing them brings lots of special greetings from Cast Members, and while not guaranteed, sometimes the wearers of these buttons will find that a little bit of "magic" comes their way.  Be sure to mention to the host/hostess at any sit-down restaurants you dine at that you are celebrating as well - again, while not guaranteed, they will often do something special like bring out a cupcake or sing.  If you wish for a cake to celebrate one of your special days, this can also be done through the host/hostess upon arrival at the restaurant.  They are small, 6 inch, in chocolate or vanilla, and are a reasonable charge.  Megan, to me, there is nothing more magical at Walt Disney World than the Wishes fireworks show that takes place at Magic Kingdom each night.  Somehow, even though I am surrounded by thousands of other guests, it seems like those fireworks are just for me!  Planning to watch Wishes on your 1st Anniversary night would be a very special and memorable way to mark the occasion, don't you think?  Finally, if you are staying at a Walt Disney World resort during your vacation, make sure they have a notation on your reservation that you are celebrating both an Anniversary and a Birthday.  Those purveyors of Pixie Dust will often sprinkle a bit upon guests who are celebrating.

Megan, I truly hope you and your husband have a magical vacation and that all of your celebrations turn out to be amazing!
