Aloha Brandon! Welcome to planDisney.
Get ready for some magical holiday cheer at
Walt Disney World Resort. Cast Members are busy hanging the mistletoe, Mickey wreaths, and tinsel throughout the theme parks,
Disney Resorts Collection Hotels, and
Disney Springs. There is no official calendar on when you can expect decorations to be completed. A Cast Member informed me the resort decorations should be complete by Thanksgiving weekend.
However, I can confirm over at
Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, that the famous Gingerbread House is up and ready for viewing. You can even purchase a gingerbread slate cookie to get in the spirit. Save some time to head on over to Disney Springs to see the
19-themed Christmas trees. Maps for the Christmas Tree Stroll are available at various locations provided in this
link. Match the stickers to the Christmas tree locations and bring them to a redemption location for a special treat.
Santa is meeting guests at Once Upon a Toy via the virtual queue through the My Disney Experience Mobile App.
And finally, there is no lack of Christmas cheer throughout the theme parks.
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park features traditional Christmas decorations from various regions of the world. Magic Kingdom Park has been hosting
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party and is decked out in full Christmas decor.
Keeping it Magical,
Cindy
