This summer I am planning a surprise trip for just my daughter and I, (my daughter thinks we are going to Washington). I will be getting the DDP, however my trip is 7 nights, on the 8th day we are leaving early, does this mean my dining plan is for 8 days

    Hi Maria!

Congratulations on your big surprise!  In the past we have surprised our kids with a trip to Walt Disney World and it's still one of my favorite memories.  If you video it you will have many laughs in years to come because you never can predict how children will react.

The Disney Dining Plan 2014 is based on the number of nights you are staying.  So your meal credits will be calculated on the number of nights.  In your case you are staying 7 nights.  However you may use your credits from the first day that you check in through the last day you check out (ends at midnight).  So if you have some credits leftover on your last morning, you can have breakfast and maybe even purchase some snacks for your trip.  The beauty of the meal plan is that you may use the credits in any order that you choose.

Thank you for visiting the Disney Parks Moms Panel!  Be sure to come back and see us with any further vacation planning questions.  We love to help!

    Have a Disney Day!

Meet the Panelist: Brenda, Missouri

I fell in love with Walt Disney World on my very first visit, which took place during my honeymoon. Since then we have added 4 "mouseketeers" to our family and have come to appreciate what a great value a Walt Disney World vacation can be on a budget. As a Physical Therapist and a mom of a large family, I would love to help you plan your next magical trip! Learn More About Brenda
