    When will the summer hours be updated for the parks? As of now, MK is closing at 10pm and AK is closing at 5pm each day. Won't the hours be extended in the summer, especially with Rivers of Light and Kilimanjaro Safaris at Night opening this spring?

    Hi Michele!  Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel.

    I am looking so forward to the summer at the Walt Disney World Resort. There are so many things to look forward to and Rivers of Light is the one thing that I am most excited about! Theme Park Hours are typically released approximately six months in advance and that typically includes Extra Magic Hours. However often times hours are extended as the season approaches. Unfortunately the details of how hours are determined and when or if these hours will be released is something of a mystery. We here at the Disney Parks Moms Panel are not privy to this information. I would suggest that you keep checking back to see if the Theme Park Hours change. Also follow the Disney Parks Blog for all of the latest and up to the minute information on all of the new offerings this year!
