Ahoy Samantha!
Thanks for cruising by planDisney! You can pretty often catch me daydreaming about my next Disney Cruise Line vacation so I know what it's like to be eagerly awaiting the announcement of future itineraries!
Samantha, currently Disney Cruise Line vacations are
available to book through September 2025. If this past year can give us any clues, we found out about
Summer 2025 itineraries in March 2024 so I think it may still be a few months before we hear more about available sailings for Summer 2026. The
Disney Parks Blog or official
Disney Cruise Line social media accounts are the best places to follow so you don't miss the announcement when it is made! When it's time to make your reservation, you can search for a travel agent who is an Authorized Disney Vacation Planner or
call Disney Cruise Line directly for help from a friendly Cast Member.
While I know this may not be the news you were hoping to hear, I'm happy to share a few of my favorite ways to pass the time while waiting to make my next reservation. I recommend checking out current itineraries and
ports of call available so you can start thinking about where you'd like to sail from and which destinations you'd like to see!
Disney Castaway Cay has been a longtime favorite for our family, but I'm hoping to have a chance to visit the all-new island destination,
Disney Lookout Cay at Lighthouse Point, on our next cruise. It's also never too early to start familiarizing yourself with the various ships. By the time you are ready to cruise in 2026, Disney Cruise Line will have introduced even more ships to its growing fleet including the
Disney Treasure (setting sail in December 2024) and the
Disney Destiny (set to make its maiden voyage in 2025). While each ship brings the magic of Disney to the high seas, they each also have dining, entertainment, and recreational activities that make them unique. Even though itineraries are subject to change and exciting new destinations are being introduced as years pass, all of the research you do now will help you narrow down your vacation choices when reservations open.
It's also not too early to start saving for your trip as well. I like purchasing Disney Gift Cards that I can use towards our deposit, payment, and onboard expenses a little at a time. You can use the
Disney Gift Card website to combine the value of your cards into one gift card to make paying for your cruise even easier!
Samantha, I hope this information is helpful as you continue dreaming about a Disney Cruise Line vacation that is practically perfect in every way! Remember, you've got a friend in us here at planDisney and we'd love to
SEA you again if you have any other questions before your cruise!
Cheers!
