Welcome to
planDisney, Katherine. Thanks for stopping by with your question for us. We’re so glad you’re here!
I’m excited to hear you’re planning a trip to the Happiest Place on Earth soon, Katherine. After a long closure, so many people (myself included!) are excited to
return to a land of Magic! Pretty soon we’ll be able to stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. again and gaze at Sleeping Beauty Castle!
I’m sorry you’ve been having issues linking your
tickets to your Disney account. Without knowing more details about your complimentary tickets (since there’re many different kinds), it’s difficult for me to fully provide you a solution. Shortly before Covid forced the theme parks to shut down,
Disneyland Resort introduced a tiered ticketing system (for single day tickets). More popular days like weekends or holidays are usually categorized as Tier 5, which are pricier and have no blockout dates. Tier 1 ticket, on the other hand, has many blockout dates but is more affordable. When Disneyland Resort theme parks reopen next week on April 30, 2021, Tier 1 tickets are not available for park entry (at least for the first 60 days, through June 28, 2021).
Your complimentary tickets may be ineligible during the initial phase reopening due to the tiered ticket system. As mentioned earlier, since there are many different types of complimentary tickets, I recommend contacting Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and speaking directly with a Cast Member who can better assist you. I sincerely hope you’ll be able to visit the Happiest Place on Earth soon!
Have a magical day,
Kiki
