Hi Joanna,
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with such a sweet question about Walt Disney World Resort's most infamous dessert - the Kitchen Sink from
Beaches & Cream Soda Shop at Disney's Beach Club Resort. I thoroughly enjoyed my first meal at Beaches & Cream Soda Shop a few months ago. I consider myself an ice cream connoisseur and couldn't wait to try the infamous Kitchen Sink. When my family kindly requested milkshakes and the No Way José, instead, I found a new dream and give the S'mores Shake from the adults-only menu two enthusiastic thumbs up. We cheered loudly every time one of our neighbors was presented with a Kitchen Sink and watched in disbelief as a family of four with two toddlers joined the clean sink club.
Sprinkling some good news on your day, Joanna, I'm happy to share that individual bowls and spoons come standard with the Kitchen Sink. There is a large serving spoon, perfect for photo ops, but I do not recommend it as an eating utensil. As a general recommendation, I encourage you to ask Cast Members throughout your stay for anything that will help your family best access the magic around you. Cast Members are the cherries on top of the Disney magic sundae.
On the topic of desserts, three of my favorite sweet treats on property have to be the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake at
Liberty Tree Tavern in Magic Kingdom Park, the Night Blossom from
Pongu Pongu in Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park, and the Werther's Original Caramel Snickerdoodle Cookie Sandwich from
Karamell-Küche in EPCOT's Germany pavilion. The magic and your sweet tooth are calling!
Choose magic,
Jennifer
